JL Media Today is so much more than a media/news company. They're real life people with huge hearts. They are deeply passionate about what they do and often use it to help their community. For myself, JL Media Today donated their time, equipment, and skill set to promote a domestic violence benefit for my sister; Sunflowers Song. With their help we were able to reach so many people unable to attend in person. They helped bring a community, and family, together in a time of sadness, anger, and confusion and I will never forget it. Thank you to the entire crew at JL Media Today. This team is dedicated, talented, and unbelievably ambitious. Their followers continue to grow and they continue to outgrow their venues. JL Media Today was a huge help with a benefit we hosted early 2017 for a local victim of domestic violence. They stepped right up and volunteered to be the main sponsor. Not only did they broadcast live on location the day of the event, but they also connected us with vendors and suppliers as well as promoted the event for months leading up to the event day.

Hollywood spends nearly two billion dollars each year promoting their films. As a movie exhibitor, how do you identify yourself as being unique when all of your competition has the same product and the same juggernaut mechanism promoting everyone equally? Print advertising isn’t what it was, and the internet is a sea of enormous, but somewhat rudderless, opportunity. Our answer was to find a way to reach out to our current customers and potential new ones through local marketing efforts. This is where JL Media comes in. JL Media has given the Hamilton 16 IMAX & GDX a local voice. Our show Movie Night at the Hamilton 16 IMAX & GDX has grown from a few hundred listeners per show to several thousand. In fact, we are almost at the same number of listeners per show as we have loyalty members. That’s a big deal. It also has allowed us to build new business relationships with local entrepreneurs, artisans, and artists in our community, which we love. I would highly recommend Johnny and Mandy to anyone looking to get their product or message out there. They are wonderful partners and being a part of the JL Media family has been a lot of fun.
